Making progress -- Hooray !!! :)
I am making progress. Yahoo !!! I spoke with one of the vendors today. I guess writing an unflattering email about their response time seemed to work. The vendor representative informed me that he would need certain information about my school, once he got the necessary specs, we were able to move forward. They will contact me with the necessary information within 24 hrs.

YAY!! I know that is a big load off your shoulders. I hope you get the price you hope for! I am sure your school is going to benefit from this. Has your mentor thought about putting them in the rest of the classes? Are they going to wait for your action research results and then possibly move forward getting the rest? You are making such a difference!!
ReplyDeleteMy principal wants to see how this works for these two classes before add it to other rooms. But we are considering building a mobile computer lab, in which the laptop would go from room to room in a computer cart.
DeleteWe had a mobile lab at one time. It was great for all the teachers who knew how to use them, but a NIGHTMARE those of us who knew who didn't. Ended up those of us who could use them were spending most of our time helping those who couldn't! My advice is don't go mobile until LOTS of training. Good Luck!!
